What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

As we celebrate Disability Pride Month, Headspace is incredibly proud to share that we've been named a 2024 Best Place to Work for Disability and Inclusion by the Disability Equality Index (DEI). This prestigious recognition, a joint initiative by the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and Disability:IN, highlights our ongoing efforts to create a workplace where everyone can thrive, feel a sense of belonging, and collaborate on impactful work.

The DEI is a comprehensive benchmarking tool that helps companies build a roadmap of measurable, tangible actions that they can take to achieve disability inclusion and equality. Now celebrating its tenth year, the DEI was created in 2014 to drive change in disability inclusion within businesses. Over time, it has evolved to become a critical element of organizational sustainability, enabling companies and leaders to track actions that foster disability inclusion while creating long term value for employees and shareholders.

Being honored as a Top Scoring Company with a score of 90 on the DEI – for the second consecutive year — truly signifies our status as a leader in disability inclusion and reflects the diligent work across the organization to uphold accessibility and belonging in all we do, as we are constantly looking for ways to build a more inclusive product and work environment.

This recognition underscores several of our disability inclusion and accessibility-focused initiatives, including:

  • SpoonSpace: Our disability-focused Employee Resource Group, which provides a supportive community for employees with disabilities.
    • This recognition also reflects our ongoing efforts to uphold SpoonSpace’s vision (“If it’s not accessible, it’s not acceptable”) across all aspects of our workplace and member offerings.
  • Purpose Advisory Committee: A company-wide council, made up of stakeholders across the company who are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion at all levels of Headspace, to consult on and foster collaboration around matters related to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
  • Digital Accessibility: Ongoing assessments and improvements to ensure our products and services are accessible to everyone, such as: closed captions available for all in-app content; integrating haptic feedback to enhance the experience for visually-impaired members; text scaling; support for all screen widths and orientations (landscape mode); in-app content highlighting disability pride and relevant life topics like self-love, body acceptance, and joy, and more.

These initiatives are just a few examples of how we're working to build a more inclusive product and work environment. While we acknowledge that we still have a long way to go to achieve equity for everyone – regardless of visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor abilities – our mission remains steadfast. We aim to empower all our members with tools they need to access lifelong mental health support, and fostering greater accessibility and inclusivity continues to be a top priority as our offerings evolve.

“Inclusion is a core value at Headspace, and expanding inclusion for people with disabilities in the workplace is an ongoing effort,” said Jansen Weaver, Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Headspace and SpoonSpace’s Executive Sponsor. “Thank you to Disability:IN and  AAPD for the recognition, as it is a testament to the strides we’ve made in creating a supportive and accessible environment for our members and employees. We’re proud to continue raising the bar for DEI advancement in the workplace.”

Headspace is dedicated to making our products more accessible for every person and celebrating human diversity while fostering a culture of deep belonging within our organization and society.
